In this video, Duo Savigni perform “Deutsche Weise”.
”Deutsche Weise” is a composition also known as “Steh ich in finsterer Mitternacht”, a soldatenliebe composed around 1824 by Friedrich Silcher and Wilhelm Hauff and transcribed for two guitarts by Mertz around 1850.
This version is an original arrangement by Duo Savigni for fortepiano and guitar.
