TouchTheSound is an artistic project embraced and supported by Centro Asteria – Festival Corde d’Autunno and by GuitarMind.
This project sees at the center of interest the historical instruments of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Thanks to the multi-year collaboration between Liuteria Lodi and many collectors who are involved in the GuitarMind circuit, we have some of the most beautiful historical instruments of these two centuries.
That project offered tests assisted to particular instruments, lectures by experts such as historians and experts for a full understanding of these periods, of the society in which it was born what we approach, as well as the intervention of musicians (guitarist and non-guitarists) who have dedicated part of their life and study to the knowledge and the rediscovery and interpretation of the practice on these instruments.
TouchTheSound Project wants to give the opportunity to those who are interested in approaching these worlds in a conscious and informed way.

Tale progetto vede al centro di interesse gli strumenti storici dell’ottocento e del novecento. Grazie alla presenza del liutaio Gabriele Lodi e di collezionisti che sono coinvolti nel circuito del GuitarMind, si dispone di alcuni tra i più bei strumenti storici di questi due secoli. Creare una consapevolezza ed avvicinamento da parte dei musicisti alle diverse sfumature nell’approccio a tali strumenti è interesse del progetto.
Vengono offerte prove assistite a particolari strumenti, interventi di esperti quali storici e studiosi per una comprensione lata dei periodi presi in esame, della società in cui è nato ciò a cui ci avviciniamo, oltre che l’intervento di musicisti (chitarrisiti e non chitarristi) che hanno dedicato parte della vita e dello studio alla conoscenza e alla riscoperta e interpretazione della prassi su questi strumenti.
Il progetto vuole dare la possibilità e l’opportunità a chi ne è interessato di avvicinarsi in maniera consapevole ed informata a questi mondi.
